DAY 1
Nizwa Fort – Nizwa Souk – Birkat Al Mouz – Falaj System of Al Kattmyn – Jebel Akhdar – Diana Point
We depart Muscat to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman visits to the famous Nizwa Fortress, today the museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area, walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains, this impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and seiges. Next to the fortress is the large Nizwa Souq, a local marketplace that offers a variety of goods including jewelry, pottery, fish, and meats. The list goes on!
After, we drive to Jebel Akhdar, an old village called Birkat Al Mauz, then after visit the Irrigation System of Al Kattmyn, one of the 5 irrigation system heritage by UNESCO. From there we go up to Jebel Akhdar. Also known as the Green Mountain, Jebel Akhdar houses many fruit plantations and rose gardens. Take the time to walk through the hills and cherish the valley views. There is a lot Jebel Akhdar has to offer, then drive to the hotel.

DAY 2
Bahla Fort – Al Hamra Old Village – Misfah Al Arbyeen – Jebel Shams – Muscat
We depart Jebel Akhdar after breakfast and continue move forward to Bahla to view the Art of traditional post making, then afterward drive to Al Hamra to visit the village where we get to experience how the locals create a lifestyle in the older times. After this quick tour, we move on to Misfah al Abryeen, a truly pristine village that nestles at the base of Jebel Shams. Here you will get to see the large Falaj water system that supplies water to the nearby vegetation. There are numerous marked footpaths throughout the village that is recommended to take your time and explore, then after continuing to the village we drive up to Jebel Shams Mountain the Grand Canyon of Oman. The canyon itself is enough to lose yourself in wonder, walking around there is so much to see and be amazed by. Late afternoon, we head back to Muscat, Oman.
